Any commercial pool application should involve one of our commercial series ionization systems. There are six models to handle up to a 600,000 gallon pool. All new state-of-the-art electronics, these models are certainly the most accurate and reliable ionization systems on the planet.

Description

Generally, we size one electrode (6″ long, 1 3/4″ diameter) for every 75,000 gallons of water that we designate for its capacity. Each electrode needs its own circuit board to generate the precise power required. Our six models are:

CS-75 75,000 gallon capacity 1 electrode CS-150 150,000 gallon capacity 2 electrodes CS-225 225,000 gallon capacity 3 electrodes CS-300 300,000 gallon capacity 4 electrodes CS-450 450,000 gallon capacity 6 electrodes CS-600 600,000 gallon capacity 8 electrodes

The customer may upgrade to a 10″ “Biggie” electrode for an extra charge of $70 per electrode. This is 40% larger than the normal one and is desirable in warm weather climates so the electrode will last longer.
When sizing units, you should always oversize the unit, so it will not have to run on the maximum setting all the time. In other words, if the pool is 300,000 gallons, you should always go up an extra size in rated capacity — just be safe. In other words, a CS-375 would be recommended. This is similar to a stereo receiver, where you would never turn the control knob up to full blast all the time.

Every unit will display the output of each electrode channel. The reading will show Ch. 1 and then the milliamp output of that channel. Then it will go to channel 2, channel 3 and so on. Each channel will go up to 1 amp of power, or 1000 mA.

The circuitry design of these newly designed units is similar to the great features of the RC-50 model. The unit will dynamically adjust output voltage to match electrode load conditions — extending the life of the control unit and savings as much as 60% in electricity usage. The unit will alternate the current going to the electrodes every 5 minutes for even wear and tear of the electrodes.

For pools over 600,000 gallons and we have installed many of those over the past two decades, you simply mix and match the units to match the size needed. Again, make sure you always oversize the unit.
